Tonight the toes...

Tomorrow the world! Because I'm pretty sure that these socks are going to be a bit wide on Janis, I am knitting them a bit shorter than her foot measurement. That's why there's the purple thread right at the end - in case they are too short and the toes need to be reknit. In retrospect, this stitch pattern is 50%knit 50% purl, so I should have doublechecked the tension in pattern.
